Cape Cod

On Thursday, we decided to take a tour of the Cape Cod area.  After reviewing several tourist maps, we were all in agreement that we would like to spend the afternoon in Hyannis, MA.  This was a popular vacation spot of the late John F. Kennedy Jr. and his family.

On the way to Hyannis, we found a cute seafood restaurant called, "Seafood Sam's".  Tina has always wanted to try a Lobster Roll and now she had her chance.  She added a cup of Lobster Bisque to her noontime feast and was in seventh seafood heaven.  What a treat!!

After lunch, we walked by the harbor and also toured several of the local souvenir shops.  We found some incredible deals on Hoodies and T-shirts and happily took advantage of the cheap prices.  On our way out of town, we drove along the ocean front and looked at some of the incredible beach homes in the area.  This is definitely a place that we would like to visit again in the future.

We returned to Franklin, MA in the early evening and decided to have dinner at the "Franklin Pizza & Deli" restaurant.  Another great pizza and sub sandwich meal was enjoyed by all.  We then made our way to the Spruce Pond Creamery for round two of homemade ice cream for dessert.

To sum up our day:  lots of calories and lots of fun!!
